Testimonies are powerful stories of real life experiences that we can relate to. A personal testimony can paint a picture in our minds, they can touch and change our hearts. Jesus used stories to communicate his truth to us. It's hard for us to understand the things of God without something to relate it to. We can't see our lack of purpose without God in our lives but we can see that we are like lost sheep.

A good Biblical example of a life-changing testimony is the Apostle Paul's testimony before Agrippa in (Acts 26:1-19 ). Paul tells us what he was like before he recieved Jesus, how he met Jesus, and how Jesus changed his whole life.
