“Go ye therefore and teach all nations…”
Matthew 28:19
God has called US to
bring His message to the world. Through our involvement with
Foreign Missions, we have developed personal relationships with
missionaries in Brazil, Haiti and Honduras. These contacts have
given us a true understanding of the needs and challenges one faces on
the mission field in third world countries. Poverty, disease,
water pollution, voudoo and a lack of government structure are some of
the tests facing missionaries and those they serve …however, the
battle is not ours but the Lord’s. So, with faith in God and
hope in their hearts, our missionaries continue in their calling.
The Barber family has
been reaching the lost in Betim, Minas Gerais, Brazil for many years.
Their ministry of starting churches and training leaders has carried
them for miles over that vast country under difficult travel
conditions. Their son, Daniel, of “Souls for Christ” has
followed the example of his parents. He continues the work with
adults as well as building schools an orphanages.
We find more dedicated
missionaries in Haiti, the country many of us at A.P.A. are familiar
with having spent weeks or months there as “short term missionaries”.
Two of these missions so well known to us are Living Hope Ministries in Mariani
and Project Nourish on the Leogane Plain. With the devastating
earthquake on January 12, 2010 has come an atmosphere of extreme
devastation and the need to really trust God! The work continues as our missionaries provide physical and spiritual help for the Haitian
people.
Escuela Vida Abundante
in Cholutela, Honduras and the affiliated church are growing in leaps
and bounds! Two single American ladies, with their commitment
and loving care, are responsible for the teaching, preaching and
feeding off these needy souls.
It is exciting
to be a part of God’s plan of reaching out to the world! If you would
like information or to be involved with our missionary work, please

Team!
